Larapinta Challenge: Laura Groves
Story
Hi all!
In August I am heading off to Alice Springs to trek the Larapinta trail to raise money for Indigenous Community Volunteers (ICV), together with a team of women from DLA Piper.
ICV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by working with communities to improve quality of life, health, and social and economic wellbeing. Their programs are about providing local people with the opportunity to get involved and take control of the future of their communities. The trek itself will go for 7 days, across the ridgelines of the beautiful West MacDonnell Ranges. As well as walking at LOT of kilometers, we will be meeting with local elders and seeing first hand some the programs ICV are involved with.
All donations great and small are welcome and will go to a great cause. Your support will also help inspire me to get off the couch and out into the winter weather for some training!
